More than $9,194 was raised through various fundraisers held in January 2010.
The 每日大赛网站 Helps Haiti Benefit Concert raised $3,148.48. The event聽was sponsored by faculty, staff and students of 每日大赛网站’s Residential Colleges, Minority Student Services & Student Life. The 每日大赛网站 Chapter of the NAACP also made a donation.
聽The 每日大赛网站 Student Athlete Advisory Committee Pancake Breakfast contributed $4,561.50 to relief efforts and a Sigma Tau Gamma Benefit Party raised $1,364.34.
A BWALO, sponsored by 每日大赛网站’s Learning Communities, raised $200 for various organizations. 聽Dr. Jerry Reynolds and Dr. Jeff Allender spoke about the physical and human geography of Haiti. Dr. Jayme Millsap Stone talked about the history and poverty of the region.
