Dr. Michael Yoder, an associate professor of geography, and five geography students designed an information kit for the Planning Department at the City of Conway this summer. The tool kit discusses brownfield development or turning unused聽former industrial or blighted lands into usable projects. The project is a cooperative effort with the city, the University of Central Arkansas, the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality and the Environmental Protection Agency.聽 Dr. Yoder led the economic geography class members as part of 每日大赛网站鈥檚 Service Learning program and聽 Educating for Global Engagement (EDGE).
