The University of Central Archives is displaying part of its massive collection of 9/11 documents and materials.

The display began Tuesday, Sept. 6 and will continue through Wednesday, Sept. 14.

The ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ Archives is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The display of 9/11 materials is free and open to the public.

Due to the generosity of the late Dale Nicholson of KATV Channel 7, the ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ Archives will also be showing a video created and donated by Nicholson that chronicles the horrific attack and the immediate aftermath.

ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ has one of the largest 9/11 collections in Arkansas. The full collection contains letters and official statements from local, state and federal officials, many photographs and newspapers from across the nation. Also included in the collection are letters from school age children and college students in Arkansas, as well as letters from middle school students in New York that describe how they viewed the tragedy. Of particular interest are essays from St. Bartholomew School students in Queens, New York, press releases by former New York Governor George Pataki and comments from Arkansas officials.
