ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ MAKERSPACE LAUNCH SET FOR SEPT. 5

The University of Central Arkansas will launch the ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ Makerspace Powered by the Conductor at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5.

The ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ Makerspace Powered by the Conductor is a place for students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community to make, design and dream. The Conductor is a public-private initiative powered by the Central Arkansas Venture Team, sponsored by the University of Central Arkansas and supported by Startup Junkie Consulting.

The ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ Makerspace offers weekly Maker Training workshops, as well as Maker Ambassadors who help projects — from a science fair project to a micromanufacturing job.

Additionally, the ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ Makerspace’s Master Maker Jason Huselton can help any inventor bring an idea to life through prototyping and design processes.

Students and community members can also sign up for the ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ Makerspace’s classes to learn more about making their own products.

Registration for the ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ Makerspace classes and events will be open on Sept. 5. All of the classes and events are free and open to the public.
