Summer Connections are designed to help first-generation students like you transition into college life.

First-generation students are those聽whose parents or guardians have not obtained a degree from a four-year university.

It can be tough to navigate college without that prior experience, but FirstGen@ 每日大赛网站 and Student Success Services are here to support you on your journey!

Be on the lookout for these Summer Connections emails as they’ll contain useful information to help set you up for success at 每日大赛网站, including tidbits like our Bear Basics advice.

Make sure you for Summer Orientation and Academic Registration (SOAR).

At SOAR, you’ll get to:

• Meet your Academic Advisor
• Register for classes
• Learn about available campus resources
• and meet future potential friends!

BEAR BASICS In College, you’ll be doing a lot of required reading. Build good habits now by challenging yourself to read 2-3 books over the summer!
