Dec. 3, 2004 is Bear Facts Day

The next Bear Facts Day at the University of Central Arkansas will be Friday, Dec. 3 with registration set to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Student Center.

Bear Facts Days are special visitation days for interested students. “All prospective students are invited and encouraged to check out ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ firsthand to meet faculty, students and staff and tour the ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ campus,” said Penny Hatfield, director of ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾.

An assembly officially starts the day at 10 a.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ President Lu Hardin will welcome the students followed by an academic challenge from Dr. Tammy Benson.

Anna Lacy, assistant director of ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾, will present a session entitled “What I wish someone had told me about college” beginning at 10:15 a.m. While she is talking with students, President Hardin will host a question-answer session for parents. A number of other ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ administrators will follow with Q&A sessions concerning their respective fields.

Lunch and campus tours will conclude the day.

Other Bear Facts Days this school year are set for Feb. 4 and April 1.
