Faculty members are invited to attend an open house on learning communities, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, in the Student Center Ballroom.
The open house will feature a panel session with program directors and another with students involved in learning communities.
A grant-writing workshop will be held for those seeking funding to do learning community work. Other events include a poster session about learning communities and round table discussions during the luncheon banquet.
Featured speakers are Senator Gilbert Baker in the morning plenary session and ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾ President Lu Hardin at the luncheon banquet. The registration form is contained in a brochure about the open house that you received in campus mail.
The fee is $20, which covers refreshments, lunch and resource materials. Checks can be made payable to ÿÈÕ´óÈüÍøÕ¾. Please send theform and fee to Jayme Milsap Stone, Harrin Hall Room 213.
