The Meeting is a play based on a fictional encounter between two prominent civil rights activists: Malcolm X and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The play evolves as Dr. King arrives in secret in February of 1965 at a shabby Harlem hotel room where Malcolm X awaits a
discussion of their differing methods of battling racial oppression.
