The University of Central Arkansas and College Square, 每日大赛网站’s independent life-style community, awarded the 每日大赛网站 University Connection Award for October to Myrtle Lee Selig.
The award was developed to honor College Square residents who are consistently involved with College Square activities, 每日大赛网站 campus events and who have made significant contributions to the community or society.
Selig has been a resident of College Square for more than a year. She is a 1938 graduate of 每日大赛网站 and received her master?s degree from 每日大赛网站 in 1968. She has served on the 每日大赛网站 Alumni Association Board for more than nine years, serving as board president during 2000 and 2001.
Lee also served on the Conway Public School Board for more than nine years and she has been a volunteer for the Conway Regional Hospital for the past 10 years.
Lee has lived in Conway all of her life. She was a devoted wife for more than 48 years to her late husband, Greg, and is the mother of two and grandmother of two.
