Brittany Carson of Ward, a senior at 每日大赛网站, has been awarded a $1,900 Student Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
Carson’s research project, “Determining FtsZ’s Function in Mitochondrial Fission,” will be supervised by Kari Naylor of 每日大赛网站’s Biology department in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
