Funding in the form of a one-time supplies & services transfer of funds is available to faculty teaching designated service-learning courses. The purpose of these funds is to help faculty establish reciprocal partnerships in the community, cover start-up expenses for ongoing projects, or defray any cost associated with implementing a service-learning project. Faculty may request funds using the Service-Learning Funding Request Form.
Funding Requests
Funding requests for the completion of a service-learning project will be accepted, reviewed, and fulfilled on a rolling basis by the Service-Learning Advisory Committee beginning in September and ending in April. Twenty awards can be granted for projects taking place during the academic year. Applicants can expect to receive a response within two weeks of submission.
Grants may be used to pay or reimburse project expenses incurred between July 1, 2025-June 30, 2026.
